Hello, Welcome to my website.

I have a passion for making a difference in the lives young people and adults through the venue of coaching tennis.  I hope you'll take time to browse my site and register for my monthly tennis tips and e tennis newsletter.

 Happy New Year,

-Coach Sam

Today's Status Update January 5, 2008:  The weather forecast is right on the bubble of the temperature range for me to cancel classes but since it is not supposed to be too windy, I am planning to host classes in Nassau Bay and League City today.  -last updated 9:48 AM

 Elijah Chadwell:
Elijah Chadwell loves tennis. We try to play tennis at least a few minutes every day.  Sometimes we just pour out a basket of balls and practice chasing and picking them up. At a little over three years old Elijah can already hit the ball over the net by himself. We are always working on agility, coordination and striking skills in a fun games based setting,  It is simply music to my ears to hear the words:  "I want to go to the tennis center, I want to play tennis with you, daddy...'  Elijah's other favorite hobbies include fishing, golf, and reading.   Check out Elijah's Blog.

Connor Copeland:
Connor is Coach Sam's stepson,  He's  helping Elijah with his forehand in the photo to the right.  Connor is currently  a sophomore at Columbia High School and plays for the Roughneck tennis team. Connor's other hobbies include running and working out in the gym.
Coach Sam thinks Connor is one of the most gifted athletes he has ever coached.  Check out  Connor's Blog.
