About Coach Sam:
Sam Chadwell has been involved as a professional in the tennis industry for 23 years as a player, coach, and club manager. He has been employed by the City of League City as Director of Tennis for the past two decades. He also directs the Columbia Lakes Tennis Center in West Columbia, Texas, and is also the League administrator for Flextennis Houston, an organized match play program for adults in the greater Houston area.

Elijah Chadwell loves tennis. We try to play tennis or do some type of tennis training at least a few minutes every day. At just a few months shy of eight years old and a half years old Elijah is developing a very mature game for his age. He can serve the ball over the net from the baseline, play singles and doubles with much older players and loves to 'help' Daddy teach group classes. He especially likes to introduce tennis to his friends. We are always working on agility, coordination and striking skills in a fun games based setting. Elijah's other favorite hobbies include fishing, reading, legos, throwing a frisbee, and of course, art with Mommy.
