The Columbia Lakes Tennis Center is located on property at 180 Freeman Blvd, West Columbia, Texas 77486. Columbia Lakes Director of Tennis Samuel R Chadwell has been a career professional for twenty years and has been involved in the tennis industry as a player, coach, and club manager. He is certified in the MTM Modern Tennis Methodology style of teaching. He is available Monday through Saturday for private and group lessons.

The Columbia Lakes Tennis Center amenities include eight championship lighted tennis courts and tennis pro shop. Lesson and league programs are available for adults and juniors of all ages and skill levels. Columbia Lakes is an official Tennis Welcome Center.

Tennis Shop hours of operation vary Monday through Saturday depending upon the activity schedule each day. The shop is closed all day on Sundays.

Dear Tennis Friends,

We are having a fantastic summer. We just had a great Tennis Alumni Tournament featuring current and former local area high school players. July kicks off with our annual July 3rd tennis extravaganza. This popular event includes a fun morning of drills, games, matchplay, and Apple Pie...! The remainder of July includes more camps, tournaments, and socials.

Coming up in August we have world renowned coach Oscar Wegner visiting us and conducting 3 clinics for our members and guests. This is probably the biggest tennis event we have had at Columbia Lakes since the Challenger tournament here over ten years ago. TENNIS CENTER HOURS OF OPERATION: The tennis center is open and available to members from 8 AM until 10 PM. Please make evening reservations by 5 PM. Only members can make reservations. Membership packets are available in the tennis shop. The tennis shop hours vary day to day depending on scheduled events. When the tennis shop is closed members are asked to record their visit on the court reservation sheet posted on the back door of the tennis shop.

EVENING AND WEEKEND PROGRAM: Monday and Tuesday... 6 to 7:15 PM classes now include age 5-7 age group as well as ages 8 thru adult. Saturday Morning 9-11 AM Cardio classes also include the age 5-7 age group. Cost: $10/day members, $15/day non member Discounted monthly packages also available. (call or email)

MORNING PROGRAM: Private and group lessons available by appointment.

BALL MACHINE RENTAL: $10 per day, $30 per month

COURT RESERVATIONS: Members can phone the tennis shop to make a reservation. Call 979-345-6161 ext 1137. If you can't reach me there please leave a voicemail or text me on my cell phone 713-818-9109. Reservations may be made up to 3 days in advance by email: coachsam@chadwelltennis.com. A clip board with daily court assignments is posted on the back door of the tennis shop at all times.

GUEST POLICY: The Columbia Lakes Tennis Center is available to Country Club members and their guests. Members enjoy court privileges at no additional charge. Members will be charged a $5.34 guest fee for each guest.

Dogs at the Tennis Center: For the safety and enjoyment of all tennis patrons please do not bring your dogs to the Columbia Lakes Tennis Center.
